ARTIST’S STATEMENT

All my life I have been interested in how things have been made. As a printmaker, I find myself fascinated by the technical aspects and opportunities of the varied mediums. I have researched printmaking techniques extensively and selected subjects for my artwork that are applicable to my desire to use my ever increasing knowledge of the processes. Currently, I am enjoying reduction printing in ever increasing numbers of colors and image complications. I find the technique of creating the image through the subtractive methodology challenging and very satisfying.
